My heart goes out to all those affected by the tornadoes. There are several things going on around the area right now if you want to help provide relief to families in need:
(1) Raleigh Tornado Fundraiser - purchase items and services donated by local businesses with proceeds going to the tornado victims.
(2) Easter Basket Donations: bring any Easter basket items for children affected by Saturday's storms to the PetSmart parking lot (Apex) from 12-1pm on Friday, April 22. (Items needed: baskets, candy, coloring books, crayons, stickers, stuffed animals, small toys, etc.)
The Easter baskets will be distributed by Inter-Faith Food Shuttle. Look for the Paramount Realty /SearchApexHomes.com black Camry to drop off your donations.
(3)WRAL also has a list of organizations that you can donate money to.
