Group Buying Websites

Here are some email lists you should be on if you aren't already.  If you aren't familiar with these sites you usually purchase a voucher, for example a $20 voucher to a certain restaurant but you only pay $10 for it.  There is typically a deal each day and each deal has it's own terms and conditions so be sure to read those before you purchase.

These are great places to find deals for things -  I have seen everything from restaurants to spas and salons to carpet cleaning and even hot air balloon rides.  Here are the three popular ones:

Living Social
Groupon
Twongo

And also in the news is that Google is planning to release their own deal site similar to the these called Google Offers.  Thanks to my very own hubby for the heads up on that news!

Food Lion on Kildaire & Penny Road 60% Off

The same Food Lion that I wrote about a few days ago has now marked everything to 60% off!  The word is they have a lot of baby formula and a lot of ice cream as well as other stuff.

Lifeway Christmas Clearance

Lifeway in Cary has Christmas clearance for 90% off.

Crystal called in this deal and says she found some Christmas activity books for kids for 9 cents!

Thanks Crystal!

Amazon Gift Card 50% Off

This isn't a local deal, but anything online can be considered local, right?!  I don't normally post online deals since there are many other good websites for that already, but this one is pretty good:

Buy a $20 Amazon gift card for $10 on today's Living Social deal.  Go here to purchase!
