Junior Frosties at Wendy's

Right now you can donate $1 to charity at Wendy's and in exchange you get a coupon book with 10 coupons for free junior Frosties.  They would even make a fun little Halloween treat for friends or a class!

I picked mine up at the Wendy's on Kildaire Farm/Cary Pkwy.  Not 100% sure if all the locations have them.  Has anyone seen them other locations too?

Friday, September 28: Join us for Garden Storytime at 10:30 am (preregistration is required, $5 per child)

Saturday, September 29:  Shop the PAX fall plant sale and take home some new plants for your landscape.

Sunday, September 30: Take a Sunday stroll through the gardens. (on your own, free event)

Activities are staffed from 10am until 2pm and start at the Bobby G. Wilder Visitor Center.

Children's Consignment Sale in Cary

Children's consignment sale coming up soon in Cary.  See below for complete details on shopping times.  They are also accepting consignors if you are looking to sell some items.

Now into our 20th year, the First United Methodist Church of Cary's Children's Consignment Sale has become an event that many families in the Cary and surrounding communities have turned to for all of their children's consignment needs.

Dates:

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2012, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Shop for $5 donation to local family in need from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Power Consignors shop free), 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM FREE to public) 

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2012, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM, HALF-PRICE SALE! FREE to public!  

Info for shoppers: 

Our sale is open and FREE to the public between the hours of 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Friday evening and during the entire Half Price Sale on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  

Seasonal racks are provided so that you may locate the perfect costume, winter coats, or holiday attire for your little one!    

We accept cash, check and credit card.  

All proceeds from the sale are donated to local missions that support women and children.

We provide complimentary price tags and hangers (Note: hangers to be provided on a first come, first serve basis.) and we have one of the fastest turn-around times in the area!  Our sale is on Friday evening and Saturday morning, and we have checks available for our consignors that same Saturday afternoon!

100% of our profits go to local women's and children's missions.  Since we are a non-profit group, the portion of the selling price that we keep is tax-deductible.
